Webinar: Transformation as an Enterprise Service
October 24, 2006
"A major business and technical challenge with application integration today is the mismatch between the data representation that one application provides and the data representation that another application expects. In the case of document content, enterprises trying to achieve interoperability between otherwise incompatible enterprise content management systems or trying to consolidate document information assets from disparate sources are required to transform documents to and from various formats. The requirements to transform and repurpose this print data for Electronic Content Management archive loading, retrieval and consolidation and for web presentment lend themselves well to a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). In order to keep costs under control, this transformation must be done without replacing legacy solutions and using scalable solutions that can grow with the business."
